What is the difference between an AC service contract and a maintenance contract?
A service contract covers preventive servicing plus repair cover plus emergency response. A maintenance contract covers preventive servicing plus emergency response, with repairs billed separately when something fails. The practical difference is what happens when a capacitor goes in August: under a service contract it is covered, under a maintenance contract it is a separate invoice.
Are repairs included in the contract?
Yes. Repair labour and common replacement parts are included, covering the compressor, fan motor, capacitor, thermostat, control board and wiring. Major component replacement such as a full compressor is quoted separately, but at contract rates rather than emergency rates, which is usually a meaningful difference in July.
Is there a per-call charge for emergencies?

Yes. The contract expands to a full property AMC covering electrical, plumbing and civil works, using the same technicians and the same contract structure. It is a scope expansion rather than a new relationship, so there is no re-onboarding and your existing service history carries across.
Are technicians DEWA-certified?
All 75+ hold individual active DEWA cards and are direct employees rather than subcontractors. Ask any technician to show their card on arrival, which is your right as a client. Uncertified electrical or AC work in Dubai voids building insurance and creates liability for the property owner rather than the contractor.
Will it reduce my DEWA bill?
Clean coils improve heat exchange efficiency by 20 to 30% compared with dirty ones, and quarterly servicing maintains that rather than letting it degrade across the summer. The actual saving depends on your system, your usage and the starting condition, so we would rather show you the before and after readings than quote a figure in advance.
